This is the ONE !
Best sound (IMHO) of 6 posted (so far):
Clear vocals, nice drums & cymbals, good bass, you can even hear Bobby's guitar work.
Spyder9's Nak 1000's bring Phil's new bass to the front more, but at the expense of Bobby's guitar & the drums & cymbals.
Jon Pasternak's Microtech Gefell M210's have a stunningly etched high-end and mighty, crisp and clear vocals and guitar, but very little of the deep-end at all.
The other 3 recordings sound similar: overall pertty good, but all a little bit distant, as if they were recorded in a giant gym (which, of course, they were)...
Thanks to ALL who bring their gear to the shows!
PS - Have y'all checked out Phil's new bass?
It sounds AWESOME and looks as if it were designed for deep space missions...

I was at this show, and after seeing The Dead in Buffalo this year and hearing the other shows I really think that #1 Warren was really playing well at this show & #2 that these guys were really excited to be playing together again. A wonderful stepping stone to the start of their spring tour and they have certainly been delivering, although Warren could really let loose to the stratospehere (that's what gets us the highest.....Jerry) fill it up and fill it out Warren.
I am so grateful to be able to see The Dead in their 40th year of playing,it's a privledge to feel such old energy still flowing through from person to person while the music plays the band. Thanks boys.
